Here’s a great color scheme for Visual Studio text editor. The color plate is made up of Tango’s Desktop Project. Its white on dark gray, it has a nice contrast, it looks great and its best for your eyes. Stop using white backgrounds to prevent eye strain!

Here is a cool trick for your desktop, for those of you use the Gnome desktop anyway. I discovered lately that gnome allows reassigning the icons of folders/files, with one click of a mouse. Instead, you may select any picture file of your choice (as apposed to Windows that forces you to choose an *.ico [...]
